L.E.O. Live Evaluation OnLine

LEO

Cost?

  • Something that everyone wants to know up front is the cost. There is a small $25.00 fee for this service. This can be paid at the time you set your appointment as we accept most major credit cards and PayPal as well. If you have us do work on your organ and or speaker, with in 60 days, we will credit you the $25.00.

What it's not?

  • LEO isn't for telling you how to do your own organ or Leslie repair. Servicing your vintage tonewheel organ and Leslie Speaker should always be done by a qualified service technician in your area.

What it is!

  • LEO is a way to help you (or your church) decide if you should invest money into servicing, upgrading or overhauling your vintage organ and/or Leslie Speaker.

What Is L.E.O.?

  • If you have been having your organ and speaker serviced and you have been told that your instrument isn't worth repairing and you're faced with purchasing a brand new organ. Some of these new organs can be up in the $25,000. range or more and you have to buy a new Leslie. All new organs are not compatible with the old Leslie Speakers because of N.E.C. Compliance rules. SEE OUR N.E.C. PAGE

  • Because of these high prices for a new organ or speaker you may be considering upgrading and/or refurbishing your present instrument, which can save you thousands of dollars. Even fully refinishing your present instrument might save you up to half the cost of a new organ and speaker.

  • Or, maybe you're not sure about what you have been told, that you need something serviced and you want a second opinion before you spend a lot of money. LEO is an inexpensive way for you to get that second opinion without a commitment. In most cases after a LEO evaluation we can suggest what should be done.

  • We will only recommend if you should or shouldn't invest the money.

  • No pressure to have us do the work.

  • We also can't tell you how much you should pay your technician. Prices for organ service vary, due to many factors such as geographical location, travel time to and from you, how many organ technicians are in your area as well as costs involved in obtaining parts.

Once you have set an appointment you will need to do a couple of things and they are;

  1. View a Short Video. You will be sent a link to a video that you should watch a couple of days before your appointment. This is to help you have an idea of what you are going to need to do.

  2. Make sure that you have a computer, iPad, Android Tablet or MicroSoft Surface that has a camera that can be used for us to see your instrument here.

  3. PLEASE! Have someone there to help you hold the device that you will be using for us to do the evaluation. Someone is going to have to play the organ and the other to hold the device.

  4. Test your device's internet connection well in advance or your appointment. Don't wait until the last minute.

  5. Be prepared to have us look at the back of the speaker(s) and know how to remove the back of your organ.

  6. You might want to get a flashlight just in case we need to see inside the organ.

That's it, unless you have questions. If you do please call us. at 484 478-0095
